2001 Royal Australian Mint Centenary of Federation Uncirculated Six Coin Year Set
The 2001 Royal Australian Mint six coin uncirculated mint set showcases Australian circulating coin designs and is minted in an uncirculated finish.
The set commemorates the Centenary of Federation and includes six uncirculated coins: Two dollars, the commemorative "Centenary of Federation logo" One dollar, the commemorative "Coat of Arms" Fifty cents, Twenty cents, Ten cents, and Five cents
The packaging of this wonderful set highlights both the old and the new. Reflecting the old is a photograph of Rotunda, the place in which the swearing in Ceremony of the first Governor General and Prime Minister was held, and to represent the new is a design of a stylised bird in flight, its wings and body featuring insignia of each state and territory.
This set is the perfect collectible item and also an affordable gift for children born in 2001
