2014 20 cent Australia Remembers Australian Comforts Fund Coin on card

In 2014, the Royal Australian Mint pays tribute to the Australian Comforts Fund, a group set up here at home to 'support the boys overseas' - and the next release in the highly popular Australia Remembers Series.

Formed on 24th August 1916, The association was an amalgamation of state-based organisations that had been individually formed at the beginning of the First World War to send comforts to the troops. The organisation quickly grew into a fundraising, collecting, sorting and distributing machine.

Each coin is housed in a full colour illustrated card.
