Celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Torres Strait Islander Flag, designed by Bernard Namok, this coin features the flag’s meaningful design: green panels symbolizing land, a blue panel for the Torres Strait, a five-pointed star representing the five island groups, and a dhari headdress encircling the star. Black stripes denote the Torres Strait Islander people. Crafted from 8.55g of 99.9% pure silver to Proof standard, it comes in a Royal Australian Mint case with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity, limited to just 7,500 pieces.
