Born in 1975 in Boorloo/Perth, Kevin Bynder is a respected painter and designer of Whadjuk-Yued Nyungar and Widi-Badimia Yamatji heritage. His artwork draws inspiration from the ancestral lands, totems, and culture of his grandparents, whose Country spans the Perth region, the mid-west, and areas north of Western Australia.

Ngana Nyitting translates to “My Dreaming” in the Yamatji (Ngana) and Nyungar (Nyitting) languages, reflecting Bynder’s deep connection to Country and culture. His diverse body of work includes commemorative coins for the Perth Mint, AFL and NBL Indigenous jersey designs, murals, and canvas artworks celebrated both nationally and internationally.
