This highly collectable PNC showcases a 2025 Perth Mint $1 AlBr coin and a pictorial envelope from the Ngana Nyitting – The Art of Kevin Bynder stamp issue. It marks the second release in a special series honouring Indigenous artists and designers across Australia. The first, released in 2024, featured the work of Chern’ee Sutton, a proud Kalkadoon woman from the Mount Isa region.

Kevin Bynder, a respected Western Australian painter and designer born in Boorloo/Perth in 1975, draws deeply from his Whadjuk-Yued Nyungar and Widi-Badimia Yamatji heritage. His stamp imagery reflects the ancestral lands, totems, and culture of his grandparents, whose Country spans the Perth region, Western Australia’s mid-west, and areas north of Perth.

Ngana Nyitting translates to “My Dreaming” in the Yamatji (Ngana) and Nyungar (Nyitting) languages — a title that beautifully expresses Bynder’s connection to Country, culture, and storytelling through art.

Bynder began painting at 23 and has since built a distinguished career through his Perth-based art studio and merchandise company. His work includes commemorative coins for the Perth Mint, AFL and NBL Indigenous designs, murals, and numerous celebrated canvas pieces.
