1928 – 1998 $5 Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia Bimetallic Uncirculated Coin – includes commemorative $2 Phonecard

In 1928 the Reverend John Flynn established the Aerial Medical Service, later to become the Flying Doctor Service and, with its Royal charter in 1955, the Royal Flying Doctor Service.

This special, uncirculated coin from the Royal Australia Mint commemorates the founding of the service which now flies more than 12 million kilometres a year, providing a “mantle of safety” over outback Australia.

Bi-Metallic Commemorative Coin – Aluminium bronze & stainless steel uncirculated coin. Coin is sealed in the official RAM card & plastic outer sleeve. Uncirculated in Official Royal Australian Mint Pack.
