This set represents the annual release by the Royal Australian Mint of proof versions of Australia's circulating coins. The 1982 set consists of six coins:

Two Cents
Five Cents
Ten Cents
Twenty Cents
Fifty Cents
A total of 100,000 proof sets were released in 1982 the six coins being housed sealed inside a see-both-sides hard plastic case.
