1837-1897 Queen Victoria 60th Year of Reign Borough of Geelong West

This commemorative medal was issued by the Borough of Geelong West in 1897 to mark the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Victoria, celebrating 60 years on the British throne. The medal names H. Sargeant, who served as Mayor of Geelong West from 1896 to 1897, and resided on Pakington Street.
