This coin was issued as a celebration of Australia Day - 26th January 2010. The reverse design symbolically depicts Australians linked by ribbons which form a map of Australia in the centre.
The coin which was intended for circulation was released in limited numbers by the Royal Australian Mint in mint rolls consisting of 20 coins.
