The 1966 blue wallet is far scarcer than the Canberra card.
The Royal Australian Mint started in 1966 of an annual release of Australia's circulating coins as a collector set. The set consists of six coins:
One Cent
Two Cents
Five Cents
Ten Cents
Twenty Cents and
Fifty Cents - 80% Silver round.
A total of 15 809 mint sets were released the six coins being housed unsealed in a blue plastic wallet.
Please note that the RAM wallets tend to sweat and can become sticky. It is recommended to take the coins out of the wallets and store in 2×2’s
Early mint sets will have various degrees of toning on the bronze coins. Most will be dark.
